Terms & Conditions 2024
Every reservation is very important to us. Besides putting lots of love, time and energy in creating our experiences, we also have to make non-recoverable payments in advance to bring them to fruition. Please read our terms and conditions carefully before you book. By transferring your deposit, you indicate that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions on this page.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT
When you sign up for our Slow Glow Vacation, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 350 USD. Only once we have received your deposit or proof of payment, your reservation is officially confirmed. The 350 USD also count as a downpayment on your total amount.
THE REMAINDER PAYMENT
You will receive a payment link 9 weeks before the retreat starts to settle the outstanding balance, with a 5-business day timeline to settle the payment. If we do not receive your remainder payment on time, have no choice but to make your spot available again and you will forfeit your deposit.
CHANGE & CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds for the remaining amount depend on when we receive the cancellation.
More than 9 weeks period: You can allocate your deposit to another experience on our platform, or receive a gift card at The Simplified Model for that value.
6-3 weeks period: Changes are no longer possible. Should you need to cancel between 6 and 3 weeks of the retreat date, you will forfeit the 350 USD deposit and the rest will be refunded.
3 weeks period: Finally, under no circumstance will there be any refunds given for cancellation requests made within 21 days of the start date.
TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE
You participate in the classes, walks and workshops at your own discretion and you must employ your own judgment as to which movements, positions, exercises and excursions are appropriate for your level of training, overall physical fitness and experience as well as mental stability. If you do not live in the country the retreat takes place, your are encouraged to have international health insurance that also covers medical care and transport home if needed.
UNFORTUNATELY, NO EXCEPTIONS
Due to non-recoverable payments that we must make in advance to secure the retreat, exceptions to our policies cannot be made for any reason, including positively tested to COVID-19 or other health conditions, family or work emergencies, bad weather, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances such as strikes, weather circumstances, and missed, delayed or canceled flights, the retreat fees remain non-refundable. If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.
PHONE USE, CONTENT, SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMERCE
This retreat is meant to invest in your personal life and not for your work/blog/website and any kind of promotion of products, brands or services. Any content creation with a commercial background is not allowed unless agreed otherwise. Phones during practices/yoga/meditation are not permitted. Please respect the privacy of other guests and do not photograph any other guests unless they have given consent. Phone calls are not allowed in the house, you’ll be shown remote areas where you are sure not to interrupt the blissful ambience. Thank you.
IN CASE WE MUST CANCEL
If we can not host a retreat and we must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and you will receive a 100% refund. However The Simplified Model is not accountable for your expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as airline tickets, work related expenses, visas fees and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip.
OUR RIGHTS
The Simplified Model reserves the right to remove a participant from the retreat if their behaviour is disruptive, no refunds given.
The Simplified Model reserves the right to keep a guest liable if they bring damage to the house, nature or belongings.
The Simplified Model reserves the right the change the program, teachers or team members at all times.
